Brief History
Spirit Mission is an organization that was established as a result of the needs of the south side community of Milwaukee, WI. It is motivated and oriented by its founder and spiritual guide Fr. Eleazar Pérez, who arrived to Milwaukee on October, 1999 from Temósachi Chihuahua, México. After some years with the help of friends and through a board of directors, the Spirit Mission dream has become a reality achieving approval as a non-profit organization (501C3) on August 17, 2009. As the end of 2009 approached, it was posible to find and renovate a building located at 1629 S 21 street Milwaukee, WI and in spite of sacrifices and financial limitations on January 1, 2010 Spirit Mission open its doors to the community. This building is run by a group of volunteers that will undergo professional development to better serve people by providing resourceful information at people’s request. Our goal is to give and facilitate information during life’s hardships through “Small Services”.
